Her philosophy is simple - "Make great beverages accessible, engaging, and unforgettable." Craig is fascinated by the grape-to-glass story of the wines he pours at private events and uncorks for friends and family. A wine enthusiast, Craig is a director with the National Capital Sommelier Guild, a part time instructor in the sommelier program at Ottawa’s Algonquin College, and his vacations usually involve visits to vineyards. Always learning, Craig’s education includes the internationally recognized Wine Scholar Guild’s certifications for France, Italy and Spain and the Wine & Spirits Edcation Trust Level 3 certificate. When he’s not tasting wine, Craig is gardening, acting, or watching the Ottawa Redblacks Football Club.
Greg has been enjoying wine, beer and spirits for many years. In his “former life" he was an executive for a multinational laboratory supply company. His career took him across Canada and around the world, developing business opportunities and often finding time to experience the people, culture, food and wines of the places he visited. His interest in wines helped him forge a new career as a Sommelier a decade ago. Greg is a graduate of the Algonquin College Sommelier program. He has also completed his WSET3 (Advanced) qualification in Wine and Spirits, as well as the WSET Sake Level 1. Working for Champagne & wines, Greg enjoys leading tastings, sharing experiences and helping others pursue their passion for wines, beer and whisky. His approach is informal and fun... No snobbery allowed! His Somm career has included selling wine for a private agency, consulting on restaurant wine lists, and teaching a number of courses in the Algonquin Sommelier and Bartending programs. He is a past Director of the National Capital Sommelier Guild.
